Google review cards for cafés and coffee shops
Coffee is a habit, and habits are chosen by whoever is closest and looks busiest. Tourists and new residents decide with a phone in their hand, standing on the pavement, reading three reviews.

Why it works for coffee shops
- “Best coffee near me” is decided by review count and recency.
- A card on every table works while you're making drinks.
- No subscription, no tablet, no monthly bill — just paper.
Where to put the cards
- A6 tent card on each table
- At the till, facing the queue
- On the pick-up counter where people wait 90 seconds
- A4 in the window at the exit
What the card should say
The template opens with this line, and you can change every word:
“Was the coffee good? One quick review helps a small shop beat the chains.”
Print it properly
- Download the A6 card — 105 × 148 mm at 300 dpi.
- Print at 100% (actual size). “Fit to page” softens the QR code.
- Scan it with your phone before printing a batch. It should open your review form.
- Cheap first run: use the 4-up A4 sheet on plain paper, cut it, and tape it up. Upgrade to 300 gsm once it works.
Never offer a discount for a review.
Google's policy forbids incentivised reviews and can remove them. These cards ask honestly — that's why they keep working.
Questions
Will cards on tables look cheap?
Printed on matte 300 gsm card they look like part of the furniture. The free tool gives you the same artwork a print shop would charge for.
How many cards do I need?
One per table plus two at the till. The 4-up sheet prints four A6 cards on a single A4 page at home.
