Google review cards for electricians
Electrical work is invisible once it is finished — the customer sees a hole, then a wall. The only proof of quality they can show the next customer is a review, and asking for one feels awkward unless there is a card in your hand.

Why it works for electricians
- Trust is the entire purchase; certification alone doesn't reassure a homeowner.
- Reviews mentioning tidiness and clear pricing win the comparison.
- A card at hand-over costs less than a single leaflet drop.
Where to put the cards
- Hand it over with the certificate
- Left with the invoice
- On the consumer unit door
- A4 in the van window
What the card should say
The template opens with this line, and you can change every word:
“Happy with the work? A quick review helps the next home find someone reliable.”
Print it properly
- Download the A6 card — 105 × 148 mm at 300 dpi.
- Print at 100% (actual size). “Fit to page” softens the QR code.
- Scan it with your phone before printing a batch. It should open your review form.
- Cheap first run: use the 4-up A4 sheet on plain paper, cut it, and tape it up. Upgrade to 300 gsm once it works.
Never offer a discount for a review.
Google's policy forbids incentivised reviews and can remove them. These cards ask honestly — that's why they keep working.
Questions
Is it appropriate to ask at the end of a job?
Yes — one line at hand-over. Never ask before the work is signed off, and never offer anything in exchange.
Can we mention certification in the review request?
You can mention you're certified on the card; you cannot ask customers to state it. Keep the ask simple.
