Google review cards for nail salons
The client sits with wet nails for ten minutes doing nothing but looking at her phone. That is the single best review window in the entire beauty industry, and most salons leave it empty.

Why it works for nail salons
- New clients choose on photos and reviews, in that order.
- “Nail salon near me, walk-ins” is won by recent reviews.
- The card sits where the client is already staring at her hands.
Where to put the cards
- On the drying table, under the lamp
- At reception by the card reader
- Inside the aftercare bag
- A4 by the door
What the card should say
The template opens with this line, and you can change every word:
“Love your nails? Thirty seconds of honesty helps other people find us.”
Print it properly
- Download the A6 card — 105 × 148 mm at 300 dpi.
- Print at 100% (actual size). “Fit to page” softens the QR code.
- Scan it with your phone before printing a batch. It should open your review form.
- Cheap first run: use the 4-up A4 sheet on plain paper, cut it, and tape it up. Upgrade to 300 gsm once it works.
Never offer a discount for a review.
Google's policy forbids incentivised reviews and can remove them. These cards ask honestly — that's why they keep working.
Questions
Where exactly does the card work best?
On the drying table. The client is stationary, bored, holding a phone — the scan rate there beats a card at the door every time.
Should we offer a discount for a review?
No. Google forbids incentivised reviews and can remove them. Ask honestly, once.
