Google review cards for tattoo studios
A tattoo is the most personal purchase a stranger will make from you, and the decision happens in a browser at midnight. Your healed-work photos do half the selling; reviews do the other half.

Why it works for tattoo studios
- Clients look for reviews that mention hygiene, pain and patience — not just art.
- A card in the mirror beats a DM you'll never send.
- One printed card covers years of clients; a boosted post lasts a weekend.
Where to put the cards
- On the mirror in each booth
- At the front desk next to aftercare
- Inside the aftercare bag
- A4 by the door
What the card should say
The template opens with this line, and you can change every word:
“Love your new ink? Leave a review — 30 seconds of honesty keeps the chair full.”
Print it properly
- Download the A6 card — 105 × 148 mm at 300 dpi.
- Print at 100% (actual size). “Fit to page” softens the QR code.
- Scan it with your phone before printing a batch. It should open your review form.
- Cheap first run: use the 4-up A4 sheet on plain paper, cut it, and tape it up. Upgrade to 300 gsm once it works.
Never offer a discount for a review.
Google's policy forbids incentivised reviews and can remove them. These cards ask honestly — that's why they keep working.
Questions
Can I ask right after the tattoo?
Yes — that's the peak. Some studios keep the card up permanently and mention it once while wrapping the piece.
Should I ask for photos in the review?
You can invite it in your reply, but don't require it. Asking for a specific rating or content is what Google penalises.
